Overview.
Day 1: Arrival and flight to Zanzibar.
On this day, our company representative will gladly pick you up for the trip. You will meet and be briefed about the trip, and then have a 45 to one hour flight to Zanzibar island; a perfect gate way of Tanzania.
The other exciting option is deciding to use a ferry or boat to the island. Upon reaching the island of Zanzibar, you will be met by our experienced tour guide, who will brief and enjoy a glass a glass of Juice with you, before a drive to the lodge for refreshment, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Stone town walk and spice plantation visit.
After a hefty breakfast at the lodge early in the morning, there will be a drive to stone town in Zanzibar city; a vibrant place; marked by ancient art and architecture, mosques, and busying streets. Note that as you walk through the streets, a greeting is vital, as well as interacting with the locals. You will visit the house of wonder, the local markets and many more places.
Thereafter, you will enjoy lunch in one of the restaurants around the city (a taste of local foods is vital), before visiting heading to the spice plantations. One to two hours in these gardens gives you a feel of the sweet scent from the spices and a taste of them, as the guide will climb the plants to pick and explain each of them. Some of these spices include among others; nutmeg, coconut, jackfruits, and many more.
Day 3: Full day Beach exploration.
After enjoying the peaceful night, there will be an amazing day starter; a tasty cup of coffee in the morning at the presence of a lovely sunrise. Following the cup of coffee will be a drive to the white sand beach; calm and lovely. You will spend the day viewing the crystal clear waters, swimming, engaging in beach activities, taking photos, and feasting on the varies sea foods.
The day stretches till late in the evening, when you will return to the lodge for a breather, as dinner and sleep follows. Zanzibar beaches are some of the best in the world; spread at the shore line of the vast Indian Ocean.
Day 4: Departure.
Depending on your flight time, you will have a relaxed breakfast meal at the lodge, and then an optional half day dolphin dive experience. Thereafter, our driver guides will drop you off at the airport for your flight to the next destination.
