The 10 Days Bwindi, Volcanoes, Serengeti & Masai Mara Safari is a wonderful Combined East African Safari starting in Uganda, going through Rwanda and Tanzania before winding-up in Kenya.

Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Arrive in Uganda, through Entebbe International Airport.
Meet and greet will be at Entebbe International Airport on arrival into the country and will be done by our Company representative. It is from the airport that you will meet your safari guide to provide details of the safari, required documentation, gorilla and golden monkey permits, receipts and trip schedules.
It is also at this point that you will ask and receive answers for any burning questions. Depending on your arrival time, head for Kampala City tour and be driven to serene Hotel for Dinner and Overnight stay.
Day 2: Drive southwards to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Early morning, be served breakfast and embark on the trip southwards to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and the journey lasts 8-9 hours. Expect several stopovers and the first one is at Uganda Equator crossing in Kayabwe, approximately 72 kilometers from the City Center.
Your thirty minutes’ break involves water experiments that demonstrate how water swirls clockwise and anti-clockwise when in different hemispheres (North and south poles). Take pictures of the demonstrations as well as when standing at the iconic landmark then proceed for lunch at Igongo Cultural Center and arrive Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and transfer to Volcanoes National Park.
Embark on the invigorating trek through Bwindi Impenetrable National Park after short briefing from Park Rangers. The length as well as difficulty of gorilla treks greatly depends on the movement of the allocated gorilla group as well as pace of trekking. Before even beginning the treks, make sure to wear waterproof hiking boots, long sleeved shirts, safari pants and have enough drinking water as well as energy-giving snacks to ease your treks.
Treks usually begin slowly and are chilly but as you hike higher elevations, you begin feeling the heat and after 1-5 hours of trekking, spend one hour observing and taking photos of these spectacular endangered great apes. Walk back to the trailhead to join your safari guide for a drive back to the Lodge for Lunch. After Lunch, embark on a trip to Volcanoes National Park in the Northern Province of Rwanda and this involves crossing the border through Cyanika border point. Spend the rest of the evening at leisure while relishing views of the Virunga Mountains.
Day 4: Tracking the playful Golden Monkeys in Volcanoes National Park and drive to Kigali City, for a flight to Arusha, Tanzania.
Converge at Kinigi Park Headquarters for a briefing prior to beginning treks for the golden monkeys. Enter the dense Bamboo forest to find these frisky primates that are endangered but interesting to be with. One hour is the time allotted to be in their presence and get back to the Lodge for Lunch.
After this rewarding encounter, get your bags ready for a drive to Kigali with remarkable sceneries of the undulating hills of Northern Rwanda. Make several stops for souvenirs and be transferred to Kigali International Airport for connecting flight to Arusha. Our representative will be at the Airport waiting to transfer you to your booked Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Drive from Arusha to Serengeti National Park with en-route stop at Ngorongoro Crater
From Arusha Airport embark on a drive to Serengeti National Park with a stop at Ngorongoro Crater, Africa’s Eden where a wide range of game species such as buffaloes, Burchell’s zebras, elephants, Defassa waterbucks, Rhinos, common elands and many others.
Descend the Crater for its awe-inspiring sceneries as well as excellent game viewing experiences with the black-manned lions stealthily stalking through the tall grasslands as well as the colorful flamingos around the Soda Lake in the middle. After exploring this Conservation Area, proceed with your drive to Serengeti National Park, arriving on-time to check-in at the Safari Lodge or Tented Camp for overnight stay as well as dinner.
Day 6 and 7: Full day Game viewing experience within Serengeti National Park.
Leave your Lodge/Tented Camp after a lovely breakfast to the vast savannah plains of Serengeti National Park. Explore the inhabitants of the savannah such as big cats-cheetahs, leopards, Caracals, lions and Serval cats as well as antelopes-Kobs, Defassa waterbucks, common elands, Oribis, Topis and Jackson’s hartebeests in addition to Elephants, buffaloes, Masai giraffes, warthogs and many others. The annual migration-largest animal movement on Earth begins from Serengeti National Park where over 2 million wildebeests, Burchell’s zebras and Gazelles move to the neighboring Masai Mara National Reserve.
Also expect a wide range of bird species totaling to over 500 species of which over 200 species can be encountered during the 2 days tour. This wildlife exploration goes on for 2 days and can sometimes include hot air balloon safaris, walking safaris and Masai village walks among others.
Day 8: Drive to Masai Mara National Reserve through Isebania border point.
Breakfast at the Lodge and check-out of the Lodge for a drive to the Tanzania-Kenya border, then clear immigration before getting to Masai Mara National Reserve. If time allows, visit Rekero where you will have a glimpse of the awe-inspiring confluence of two Rivers. From this tour, continue to the Lodge for night stay and dinner while relishing the star-filled skies of the African wilderness.
Day 9: All day Masai Mara Game Viewing Safari.
An entire day will be spent exploring the hidden beauty of Masai Mara National Reserve. Have breakfast and undertake a game drive through the sweeping plains to search for big cats-leopards, caracal, cheetahs and black manned lions in addition to antelopes. Picnic Lunch on the verdant banks of the Mara River and if lucky get the chance to witness the annual migration as herds of wildebeests, zebras and Gazelles migrate across the savannah plains of this Reserve during months of June to September.
The spectacle of these animals hurdling with savage crocodiles and lions while crossing the River is a sight to behold. Other animals in the plains are elephants, Masai giraffes, Cape buffaloes, Topis, Common elands, Defassa waterbucks, Jackson’s hartebeests, warthogs and spotted hyenas among others. Picnic Lunch in the wilderness while dinner and night stay at the Safari Lodge/Tented Camp.
Day 10: Last game drive and drive to Nairobi City.
Be served breakfast early and engage in your last game drive before exiting the Park for Nairobi City. Make stops in the City for souvenirs and have Lunch in one of the upmarket Restaurants.
Later be dropped off at Jomo Kenyatta Airport or any other location in Nairobi City for night stay and dinner. This marks the end of your 10 days Bwindi, Volcanoes, Serengeti & Masai Mara Safari.
