Day 1: Transfer to Serengeti in the Northern Safari Circuit
After breakfast and safari briefing, leave Arusha in a comfortable safari vehicle for Serengeti National Park. This is one of the most popular destinations within the Northern Safari Circuit. Drive while enjoying excellent view of the Great Rift Valley, via the Crater Forest and above the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. A short stopover be made to enjoy breathtaking views of the Crater prior descending toward the Serengeti Plains.
Serengeti is a vast savanna protected area known for the Great Migration in which nearly 2 million wildebeest can be watched moving together with zebras and Thompson gazelles. While on Serengeti Plains safari, witnessing wildebeest migration is one impressive experience you shouldn’t miss. Arrive early and check into your lodge in the Serengeti Plains for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Full day exploring Serengeti Plains of Tanzania
Have a tasty cup of tea or coffee and after, set off for a long day tour in Serengeti National Park. Explore the park’s extensive savanna plains while sighting for the big game, wildebeests, birds, antelopes to mention but a few and this is inclusive of picnic lunch. Return after your long day game drive and relax at the lodge, share your memories and after dinner, retire for the night.
Day 3: Travel to Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) from Serengeti Plains
Breakfast early morning and later, set off to Ngorongoro Crater but enjoy a game drive as you get out of Serengeti. Descend toward the crater floor while sighting the lush acacia tree woods with a chance to spot the big game-buffaloes, rhinos, elephants, lions, leopards for a good period of time. Later, proceed with your game viewing tour and then break off for picnic lunch before you get to Karatu. Dine and spend a night in a lodge you booked around Serengeti National Park Tanzania.
Day 4: Transfer from Karatu to Tarangire National Park
After a hefty breakfast, leave Karatu for the beautiful Tarangire National Park your next destination. This is remarkably Tanzania’s 3rd largest park and sanctuary harboring a large population of elephants. It is known for its majestic baobab trees which most of the park’s wildlife feed on.
Enjoy a game drive here and as you head towards the Tarangire river, expect a huge concentration of wildlife species that confine here for drinking water.
