Day 1: From Arusha, drive to Lake Manyara National Park.
Pick up by your experienced guide ready to begin your 7 days Tanzania wildlife tour to Lake Manyara National Park. Spend 2 and half hours driving on 130kms journey then on arrival, have lunch at the lodge.
explore and experience Lake Manyara on an afternoon game drive with expectations to see huge numbers of elephants, the tree climbing lions and flamingos. Get back to the lodge to have relaxation, dinner and a night stay.
Day 2: Depart Lake Manyara for Serengeti N/park.
Have breakfast and after, check out of the lodge, meet your driver guide for transfer from Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park which is one of the premier destinations in Tanzania’s Northern Safari Circuit.
Get to the park early to be served lunch at the lodge then you will have an afternoon game viewing tour in the vast plains of Serengeti National Park. The park is blessed with big game, varied bird species, antelopes most of these you will enjoy on your afternoon game drive.
Day 3: Full day in Serengeti Plains – the Northern Safari Circuit.
Enjoy your cup of tea or coffee and after, expect to spend the whole day exploring and experiencing the Serengeti National Park. Today, your exploration includes picnic lunch in the wilderness. Begin your game drive through the Kopjes circuit while enjoying amazing view of lions and beautiful kopjes. Interestingly, your game drive also offers you a chance to watch the wildebeest migration, gazelles, zebras, birds to mention but a few. Drive back to the lodge where you will relax, dine and retire for the night.
Day 4: Leave Serengeti Park for Ngorongoro Crater.
Get the best of your hefty breakfast and after, meet your Tanzania safari guide ready for transfer to Ngorongoro Crater/Conservation Area-approximately 4 hours’ drive from Serengeti.
En-route trip includes a stop visit at Ol Duvai Gorge for historic experience about early man evolution. Proceed to Ngorongoro for lunch at the lodge and have a relaxed afternoon.
Day 5: Full day in Ngorongoro Crater.
Breakfast early morning and after, descend 600m along the beautiful Ngorongoro Crater for a whole day game drive. Note, Ngorongoro Crater is remarkably one of the world’s natural wonders and also known for its intense wildlife species on earth accounting for estimated population of about 30,000 animals inclusive of black rhinos.
On a game drive, you also stand a chance to enjoy sight of other wildlife species including cheetahs, jackals, lions, buffaloes, wildebeest, warthogs, African elephants, birds and not to miss the picturesque view of the crater itself. Get back to the lodge for dinner and night stay.
Day 6: Depart Ngorongoro for Tarangire National Park.
Have a cup of tea or coffee and after, leave your lodge for 155kms journey about 3 and half hours’ drive. Arrive early for lunch and then embark on an afternoon game drive. While on a game drive along the beautiful wilderness of Tarangire National Park, expect to enjoy great sight of the park’s 3 unique species; the Fringed eared oryx, Greater Kudu and Ashy starlings.
The park also boasts its huge profusion of elephants most of which can be spotted on afternoon game drive.
Day 7: Return to Arusha.
Following an early morning breakfast at the lodge, check out and leave Tarangire National Park for 2 hours’ drive to Arusha. Have lunch in a classic lodge/hotel/restaurant in Arusha and be dropped off at the airport for departure or your place of residence which marks the end of 7 days Tanzania safari.
