Tour Overview.
This is an exclusive Safari that will give you never dying memories. In this trip, you should expect a lot from it, starting from the source of the Nile, Romantic Sipi falls, the Elgon ridges, Pian Upe – the second largest game reserve after Murchison falls national park, the farthest park which is Kidepo Valley national park.

Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Transfer to Jinja and continue to Pian-Upe game reserve.
On this day our professional driver will pick you up from your hotel and give you a briefing about your trip and later embark on the trip. This journey will take you about 9-10 hours’ drive with stopovers for adventure.
Use Kampala Jinja Highway, going through the green forests of Mabira and in this forest, you will find where there is chicken roasting and roasted plantain locally known as (gonjja)
You can decide to buy in case you are interested or continue with the journey to the source of river Nile, where the world’s longest river generates its energy, it’s an amazing experience and gives you a big story to tell since the guide will give you local knowledge about this river. Continue to the Romantic Sipi falls, have a great interaction with locals, acquire vast knowledge and later continue to Pian Upe where you will spend the night.
Day 2. Game drive in Pian Upe and continue to Kidepo valley National Park.
You will wake up at 6:30 am, have your breakfast and go for a game drive. Pian Upe is the second largest protected area in Uganda after Murchison falls national park. It’s endowed with great wildlife for instance oribis, ostriches, buffaloes, elephants, leopards, many primates, over 240 bird species, butterflies, and many more.
This activity will last for 2-3 hours and then later transfer to Kidepo valley national park, the journey will take you about 6-7 hours’ drive. You will reach in the evening at around 5 pm, relax at the lodge, and have an overnight stay.
Day 3. Morning game drive and Cultural tour
Wake up at 6:30 am, have your breakfast and after go for a game drive, while on this game drive you will be able to see most of the grazers in the morning like buffaloes, you will meet lion prides, elephant herds, cheetahs, leopards, reptiles along Kidepo river, hippos, birds, butterflies and the beautiful terrain of the park.
After the game drive, return to your hotel for relaxation and lunch. In the afternoon at around 3:30 pm, you will go for cultural tour where you will be able to meet the IK people who are believed to be the earlier settlers of this region. They have an interesting lifestyle and their settlement at the top of mount Murongole. You see their dances, food, behaviors. You will enjoy their culture and this will give you much stories to tell in this trip. You will come back to your hotel and have an overnight stay.
Day 4. Bird watching and Sand bedding along Kidepo valley.
For birders, this should be a must-visit since the park is home to over 470 bird species which gives you a chance even the endangered species and some migrant birds. You will come back to the hotel for relaxation and lunch, then in the afternoon hours, go sand bathing on white sand along River Kidepo.
This will give you a soothing experience as you will be seeing the savannah plains decorated with herds of buffaloes and elephants, birds, and antelopes. This activity is always generally for relaxation and energy restoration. You will end your activity when it’s nearly night and you will go back to the hotel for the last night stay.
Day 5. Transfer back to Kampala and end of the trip.
On this day you will wake up as early as 7:30 am, have a mouthwatering breakfast, pack your luggage and check out of the hotel.
Here you will take about 9 hours’ drive, passing via Gulu-Kampala Road and your stopover will be at Karuma, have some lunch in a local restaurant and proceed on the journey to Kampala.
