10 Days Best of Kenya Safari

While you think of a safari to Kenya; this 10 days offer is unmatched and the best; introducing a great experience, variety of wildlife species, and a moment of refreshment. The adventure is back to back, blending wildlife, culture, cool climate, unique attractions, and amazing accommodation. Throughout the trip, your eyes will meet All the Africa’s Big5, breathtaking sceneries, and flourishing plantations.

The 10 days means exploring four of Kenya’s top national parks, namely; Masai Mara national park, Amboseli national park, Lake Nakuru, and Samburu national park; Nairobi city, Samburu culture, and the magnificent Great Rift Valley. There will be game drives, cultural visits, and city tours. The trip starts and ends in Nairobi Kenya.

Detailed Trip.

Day 1: Pickup and Nairobi city tour.

The 10-day trip starts today; with a Nairobi city tour, after a pickup from either the airport or your accommodation facility. This day’s excursion covers the city’s historical, cultural, and business attractions, notably; the Museum, local markets, busy streets, and monuments. You will have Lunch in the city, whereas dinner comes at sunset, followed by a peaceful nap

Day 2: Transfer to Amboseli national park.

On this day, relaxed breakfast with a view of the beautiful sun rays comes first, before you checkout for a drive to Amboseli national park, one of the top safari destinations in Kenya, located at the foothills of the giant snowcapped mount Kilimanjaro; the tallest mountain in the continent of Africa. The route to the park is marked by some of the eye-catching sceneries, plantations, and scattered homesteads. Lunch will be served en-route, as dinner, and overnight at the park lodge.

Day 3: Full day Game drive.

The day starts with a cup of a hefty coffee, and then a full day Game drive in a place of mammals; lions, leopards, a large concentration of elephants, herds of African Cape Buffaloes, warthogs, and the cheetah among others, birds and primates. The other attraction to fall in love with today is the magnificent backdrop of the Giant Mountain Kilimanjaro, flavored by a touch of sunrise and sunset rays. You will have a picnic lunch, and a sunset game drives to the lodge for a nap.

Day 4: Amboseli national park to Samburu national park.

After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge for a scenic drive to yet another rewarding destination; Samburu National park-home to a large concentration of diverse wildlife species. The journey is in a company of an exciting driver guide, with entertaining stories, and explanations of different breathtaking sceneries to the park; there will be a lunch stopover.

As soon as you arrive at the park, there will be a freshening up of the minds and soul, before spending the rest of the day relaxing as dinner is served at the agreed time and overnight.

Day 5: Game drive and Cultural adventure.

This day’s program starts with a very early morning Game drive, to meet the mammals as learning how mammals, birds, and several wildlife species at sunrise, their feeding, and movement patterns. You might also be Lucky to encounter night hunters and nocturnal creatures, notably; lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas among others. The resident list of this park includes a variety of Antelope species, zebras, elephants, warthogs, and Cape Buffalos, birds, and primates.

The drive lasts for approximately 3-4 hours, with a bush breakfast inclusive, and a lunch breakfast later.  Cultural encounters with the Samburu people will be late in the evening, and in it, there will be dance, storytelling, and songs among others.

Day 6: Transfer to Lake Nakuru national park.

After having a yummy breakfast meal at sunrise, you will check out of the lodge for an exciting drive to Lake Nakuru national park; a true birder’s haven, and home to the rare pink flamingoes. The drive crosses the fascinating Great Rift Valley, locals carrying on with their daily chores, and the green flourishing plantations.

Day 7: Game drive and Birding experience.

You will start this day with a Lip-smacking breakfast meal at the lodge, followed by an exciting game drive, as you look out for your favorite mammal, though watching several others on a parade. Your guide will help identify the different residents in the 3-4 hour adventure, by name, color, behavior, and lifespan. We, make a mention of elephants, leopards, Zebras, African Cape Buffaloes, giraffes, warthogs, hippos, and giraffes among others.

Afterwards, you will return to the lodge for lunch, and then an exciting game 2-hour birding watching and photograph by the lake Nakuru shoreline; a place decorated by flamingoes, kingfisher, and several other aquatic species.  End this day at the lodge with dinner and overnight

Day 8: Transfer to Masai Mara National park.

After a breakfast meal at the lodge, you will check out of the lodge for an exciting drive to Masai Mara National park; a prime safari destination in the continent of Africa and a perfect place to witness mammals, birds, and trees entangle together.

From Lake Nakuru, the drive traverses magnificent Great Rift Valley where you will stop over for photography and sightseeing; plantations, Lunch at Nurus trading center. The journey then proceeds for two hours to the lodge in or around the park for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Morning Game drive and Interaction with the Masai people.

After a lovely Nap, wakeup to a yummy breakfast meal at the lodge, and thereafter head to the savannah plains for a remarkable 3-4 hour game drive; a perfect opportunity to glaze at a variety of prey and Predators, though it is not a guarantee to see the cats (lions and leopards) among others. Some of the notable mammals, birds, and mammals you have the chance of encountering include among others; Buffalos, elephants, warthogs, zebra, rhinos, cheetah, hippos, crocodiles, and impalas among others, ostrich, flamingoes, and many more. This destination also offers an opportunity of witnessing the Annual wildebeest migration, at the Mara River; one of the world’s natural wonders.

After the game drive, there will be a lunch break, followed by a visit to the Maasai community for an exciting Cultural encounter. When you arrive; you start thinking differently, dancing, laughing, and admiring their way of life. The Maasai warriors are known for the love of cattle, their identity from ancient times. The day ends with dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Departure.

After having a yummy breakfast meal at the lodge, there will be an optional activity; probably a guided nature walks, before checking out for a drive to the airport for your flight to the next destination or the city.
