Day 1: From Nairobi capital to Lake Nakuru.
Begin your morning with breakfast at a hotel in Nairobi and later, meet your driver guide in Kenya. Briefing on your tour and then leave Nairobi for Lake Nakuru National Park-drive through the Great Rift Valley Floor. Reach Nakuru National Park early and enjoy your lunch before setting off for afternoon game drive.
Lake Nakuru National Park is generally endowed and while on a game viewing experience, expect to look out for cheetahs, gazelles, black and white rhinos, diversity of birds. Thereafter, get back to have dinner and a night stay at the lodge around Lake Nakuru.
Day 2: Travel to Masai Mara N/park.
Breakfast early morning and after, be ready to head to your next wildlife safari destination in Kenya. That is the Masai Mara National Reserve-drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley floor and get to the lodge early for lunch. You will have a chance to participate in an evening game drive to catch a glimpse at different species as they head to their habitats to retire. Get back from your game drive to the lodge to chill, dine and spend a night.
Day 3 and 4: Game drives in Masai Mara N/Park.
For the next 2 days, you have full exploration of the Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya while on game drives. Your experience will rotate around sighting the African big five game, antelopes, witnessing the wildebeest especially if you travel between July and August.
The 1510sq.kms nature reserve boasts of significant population of savanna dwellers for you to catch a glimpse. They include the Masai giraffes, elephants, zebras, wildebeests, cheetahs, leopards, buffaloes, warthogs, spotted hyenas, gazelles, impalas, lions, grey jackals, topis, hartebeest, birds and others.
Being 2 days wildlife encounter, you can also enjoy a hot-air balloon experience. This lets you enjoy aerial view of savanna plains teeming with wildlife in the Mara Reserve of Kenya. Dinner and overnight will be in Kenya safari lodge in the Mara Reserve.
Day 5: Departure trip from Masai Mara reserve to Nairobi.
Prior having your breakfast, you will have last game drive experience for this particular trip in the Masai Mara National Reserve. You will come across early morning risers and after then get back to take breakfast.
Later, drive back to Nairobi where you will depart back home or retire in your hotel/place of residence and this marks the end of your 5 days Masai Mara & Nakuru safari.
