Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Reptile Village and City Tour
Welcome to Uganda! Our representative will greet you and brief you about your safari. Subsequently, visit the Reptile Village to see rescued reptiles like snakes, crocodiles, snails, and tortoises. Enjoy lunch in the city, followed by a tour of the Museum, Craft Village, and Independence Monument. Conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 2: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park – Rhino Tracking
After breakfast, transfer to Murchison Falls National Park, the oldest and largest park in Uganda. Along the way, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track endangered rhinos. Then, continue to the lodge in the park for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Game Drive and Boat Cruise
Start the day with a sunrise game drive in the northern sector of the park. Spot lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalos, leopards, and more. Following lunch, enjoy a 2-3 hour boat cruise to the bottom of the falls, followed by a hike to the top of the waterfall. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Enjoy breakfast before transferring to Kibale National Park, home to over 13 primate species, including chimpanzees. On the way, stop for lunch and take in the captivating landscapes. Check into the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Wetland Tour
After breakfast, embark on a chimpanzee trekking adventure. Spot various primates and birds like the white-breasted pitta. After lunch, visit Bigodi Wetland, where you’ll encounter local tribes and diverse bird species. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, enjoy a nature walk before transferring to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Appreciate scenic views of the Rwenzori Mountains and local plantations. Check into the lodge for lunch, followed by an evening bike ride or relaxation. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 7: Game Drive and Boat Cruise
Start the day with a morning game drive, spotting lions, leopards, buffaloes, and more. After lunch, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, seeing hippos, crocodiles, and aquatic birds. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest with Enroute Tree Climbing Lions Tracking
After breakfast, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to mountain gorillas. En route, stop at the Ishasha sector to track tree-climbing lions. Check into the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 9: Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Pygmies Encounter
Start the day with a hearty breakfast, followed by a pre-trekking briefing. Spend 1-6 hours tracking gorillas and an extra hour observing them. After lunch, visit the Batwa pygmies for a cultural encounter. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 10: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for a Boat Cruise and Canoe Trek.
